🛠 Customizing Your High-Converting Website Template

Support Document for Organic Acquisition System Setup Welcome to your High Level Template customization guide! This help document outlines the essential steps to personalize your pre-built landing page template and optimize your SEO metadata. Use this guide in conjunction with the “Customizing Your Template” and “Customizing SEO Metadata” video tutorials.

🔧 PART 1: Editing and Customizing Your Website Template

✅ Before You Start

Prepare the following assets in advance:

  • Your logo

  • Custom images (branding, gym, transformation photos)

  • Videos (optional)

  • Testimonials

  • Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions URLs

Having these ready will make the customization process quicker and smoother.

🖥 Accessing and Editing Your Template

  1. Log into High Level and open your selected template.

  2. Click the Edit icon to launch the visual page editor.

  3. You'll see your site’s three main pages:

    • Homepage – Hero content, gym info, CTA buttons.

    • Lead Form Page – Where users opt-in for offers.

    • Thank You Page – Confirmation after submission.

✏️ Customizing Page Elements

Each editable element can be clicked directly for modification:

  • Logo:

    • Click the logo → Go to Image Options (left sidebar).

    • Click the image icon → Upload your logo → Double-click to insert.

  • Text:

    • Click directly on any text box to change it.

    • Edit Headlines, descriptions, CTA text, etc.

  • Buttons:

    • Click the button → Scroll to Text Options to change text.

    • Scroll to Button Actions to control what happens on click (e.g., go to next page, call a number).

  • Phone Number:

    • Click the phone CTA button → Replace placeholder with your actual number.

  • Images:

    • Click any image → Use the same upload process as with the logo.

    • Ideal for swapping in before/after photos or gym shots.

🎨 Styling Tips

  • Keep colors consistent with your brand.

  • Use high-quality images.

  • Don’t delete entire sections unless you're experienced; instead, replace content within the section.

  • To add a new element (image, text block, etc.):

    • Click the “+” icon → Drag and drop a new element into place.

    • Reformat spacing and layout as needed.

📱 Mobile Responsiveness

Toggle between Desktop and Mobile View in the top menu. Most formatting carries over, but:

  • Check spacing

  • Resize images if needed

  • Adjust layouts for clean viewing on small screens

✅ Don’t Forget:

  • Update the Privacy Policy and Terms links on all three pages.

  • Click Save after editing each page.

  • After saving, a sidebar for SEO Metadata will appear — see below for guidance.

🌐 PART 2: Customizing SEO Metadata for Each Page

Search engines like Google use your SEO metadata to understand what your website is about. High Level includes default text that you’ll want to customize for your gym.

🛠 Accessing SEO Metadata

  • If the SEO pop-up doesn’t appear after saving, click the SEO Metadata icon at the top of the page.

✍️ What to Customize

  1. Title:
Replace [CITY] [STATE] Gym Name with your actual location and gym name.
Example: Kingston PA Fitness Bootcamp – FitLab Gym

  2. Description:
Update the city, state, and gym name. You can also personalize the message.
    Example:

Join FitLab Gym in Kingston, PA for high-energy group training classes, transformation challenges, and a welcoming fitness community.

  3. Keywords:
Add relevant terms based on your gym’s services.
    Examples:

    • Gym near me

    • Fitness bootcamp

    • Kickboxing classes

    • MMA training

  4. Author:
Your gym’s name (e.g., FitLab Gym)

  5. Social Image (Preview Image):

    • Upload a high-quality image (interior shot, member photo, branding).

    • This image appears when your link is shared on social media.

🔁 Repeat for Each Page

You'll need to manually update SEO Metadata for all three pages:

  • Homepage – General business info

  • Lead Form Page – Add urgency and opt-in message (e.g., “Claim your free class today!”)

  • Thank You Page – Optional, but keep branding consistent

After each update, click “Update SEO Metadata” to save.

🧠 Pro Tips

  • Keep your SEO text concise and on-brand

  • Don’t exceed the character limits:

    • Title: ~60 characters

    • Description: ~160 characters

  • Avoid keyword stuffing — keep it natural and readable

  • Use the same social image across all pages for brand consistency
