This guide walks you through how to attach your custom domain to your Gym Launch website template inside HighLevel (also known as GoHighLevel). This is the final step to make your new Gym Launch website public and live.

✅ When to Use This Guide

Follow this process if:

  • You are using a Gym Launch-provided website template

  • You are not using your own previously built website

  • You have a domain name already (newly purchased or from a previous site)

❌ If you are launching a cloned version of your existing website, use the “Going Live with an Existing Website” guide instead.

🛠️ Tools You’ll Need

  • A domain name (e.g., yourgym.com)

  • Your HighLevel login

  • Access to your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains)

🔧 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log In to HighLevel

  • Go to your HighLevel dashboard

  • In the left-hand menu, click Settings

  • Scroll down and select Domains

2. Add Your Domain

  • Click the Add Domain button (top right)

  • Enter your domain without www. (e.g., abcfitness.com)

  • Click Continue

  • On the next screen, also allow it to add www.abcfitness.com (recommended)

  • Click Continue

🕒 Wait while the system processes your domain — this may take 1–2 minutes. Don’t close the window.

3. Authorize Your Domain Provider

Once HighLevel detects your domain provider (typically GoDaddy):

  • Click Authorize Domain

  • A login window will pop up for your domain provider

  • Approve the connection request

  • Wait for the confirmation message: ✅ “Domain successfully added”

4. Link Domain to Your Website Funnel

After domain setup:

  • A dropdown will appear with all your websites/funnels

  • Select the template you were working on (e.g., “Template 2”)

  • Choose the first step in that funnel — usually named “Home”

  • Click Link

5. Confirm Domain is Connected

To verify:

  1. Go to Sites → Websites

  2. Select the template you customized

  3. Click Settings

  4. Confirm that your new domain appears in the Domain field

  5. If needed, use the dropdown to manually select the correct domain

  6. Click Save (bottom right)

6. Test Your Website

  • Return to Sites → Websites

  • Click on your funnel

  • Click the Preview (eye icon) for the first page

  • Ensure the domain loads correctly and shows your new Gym Launch site

🕒 If it doesn’t work right away, wait 30–60 minutes — DNS changes can take time.

🎨 (Optional) Clean Up Your URL Paths

Want a cleaner, branded URL? For each funnel step:

  1. Click the three dots (⋯) → Edit Settings

  2. Change the Step Name and Path to match your branding

    • Example: /free-class or /opt-in instead of /step-7hj93

  3. Click Update Page

  4. Repeat for each step/page in your funnel

This improves the look of your site URLs and enhances brand trust.
